An anniversary edition

We're celebrating the 20th edition of Paris Web! For once, we're not proposing a specific theme, but leaving the field wide open for you to propose topics that are close to your hearts. You can invite us to take a look back over the past twenty years, take us into the future by reflecting on what the web could become in the next twenty years, or simply question today's web practices.

In short, we invite you to talk about the web in all its dimensions, past, present and future.

Dates and venue

The conferences will take place on Thursday September 25 and Friday September 26, 2025 at the Institut Pasteur in Paris.

Workshops will be held on different dates in different cities: Paris in late June, Nantes in early September, Lyon in late October and Lille in December.

Presentation formats

You can propose your topics in the following formats:

  • 50-minute conference (including 10 minutes for questions) ;
  • 30-minute mini-conference (including 5 minutes for questions);
  • 1 hour 30 minutes workshop;
  • 3-hour double workshop (in two parts of 1 hour 30 minutes, with a break)

Post-talks informal discussions

They are a space for open discussions with the audience following your lectures, and this format is always very well received.
In recent years, we've offered speakers the opportunity to participate only after having selected their proposals. And we will be offering this opportunity again this year.

Please let us know if you are interested in this format, as part of your conference proposals.

Regional workshops

Please note that workshops will take place at different times and in different cities.
Our goal is to define a specific program for each workshop session, ideally with local or regional facilitators.

Do not hesitate to let us know your preferences, and in particular the cities in which you would like to take part, as part of your workshop proposals.
